Low Fog — Dancing on the Clouds
A thick white cloud that spreads across the floor and reaches your knees. In photos it looks like you are dancing on clouds. It is dry ice, not smoke: it does not rise, does not smell and does not bother breathing.

The cheapest thing that changes the first dance
The first dance is always photographed, and almost always comes out the same: two people on an empty floor, with the buffet table in the background. The cloud hides exactly that background. Everything below the knees disappears — cables, chairs, table legs — and only you remain, on white.
It works because it is dry ice and not a smoke machine. Club smoke rises, fills the room, stings the eyes and sets off fire detectors. Dry ice does the opposite: because it is heavier than air, it stays low and clears on its own within minutes.
In practice we set it off just before the peak of the song, not from the start. If it starts on the first second, the cloud has cleared by the moment the photographer is waiting for. Our operator listens to the song with the DJ and times it.
Half of couples take it together with cold sparks, and there is a reason: one works low, the other high, and in the same photo they fill the whole frame. Together they cost €450 instead of €550 separately.
